Objectives

Understand the current work climate with a view to making recommendations towards creating a “winning culture” on site.

Methods

An internal discovery process that consisted of a series of structured interviews/conversations carried out with a select number of staff.

Workload Analysis to gather empirical data on the burden of work on staff.

Research into “relevant” leading edge thinking and trends in workplace cultures and management approaches that lead to retention and support of the best employees and sustained high performance.

Results

  • Identification of main themes arising from interviews and observations
  • Preliminary recommendations for senior management in relation to making positive changes on site.

Building on the themes identified from the discovery in Phase 1, engaged the relevant staff in interactive workshops to identify creative solutions for them to co-create the winning culture they desire.
