Ruth (FCCA, CDPP, CDPO, CIPM, CIPP/E) provides expert consultancy together with customised training and advice on both local and European Data Protection Legislation across all business sectors. Meticulously analytical of subject matter, and a forward thinker, Ruth brings a thought-provoking insight into future key international trends which are likely to impact the data privacy exposure of businesses and society in general. 

Ruth is compliance driven and forensic in her analysis of an organisation’s data privacy exposure and has worked with a diverse portfolio of businesses ranging from SME to multinationals from within the financial, health, public sector and entertainment industries.  She designs and delivers bespoke multi-level training courses which are known for their stimulating, thought provoking and comprehensive content, that aim to provide attendees with a solid understanding of the hugely complex European Regulation.  

With over 25 years financial experience at senior management level in both the Oil and Technology industries, she pursued a keen interest in data protection and qualified with distinction from UCD in 2017 as a Certified Data Protection Officer.  Ruth gained a diverse and impressive range of qualifications from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and Association of Data Protection Officers (ADPO).  

Ruth sits on the ADPO Executive Committee and represented ADPO on the Confederation of European Data Protection Organisations (CEDPO).
